Occupancy: A Haunted Apartment Horror (Forms of Dread)

Every few weeks, someone in the Aldine wakes at three in the morning unable to move. They feel a cold weight settle onto the bed.Long fingers resting against their chest.A head tucked beneath their jaw. Then morning comes, and there is nothing there. Most residents blame sleep paralysis. The Aldine is an aging residence hotel converted into cheap co-living apartments, filled with thin walls, lowered ceilings, old steam pipes, and people willing to tolerate almost anything for affordable rent. But one resident has been recording his room at night. And something keeps appearing in the sound.A low-frequency hum.

Too deep to hear. Strong enough to feel. Then one night, he is awake when the mattress sinks. He reaches out.And his hands close around something that cannot be seen.Something warm enough to breathe.

Solid enough to bleed. Frightened enough to fight back. Now a handful of residents must confront an impossible question: if the thing haunting the Aldine has a physical body, where has it been living all these years? And how many times has it climbed into their beds while they slept?OCCUPANCY: A Haunted Apartment Horror is a claustrophobic supernatural horror novella about sleep paralysis, invisible things, old buildings, and the terrifying difference between believing you are alone and knowing you aren't.
