The Redbird, so small and frail, had a song to sing, and a tale to tell.
The Redbird sang, its voice so soft,
Sitting from its perch, atop the loft.
The Redbird said, Don’t ever stray,
For then you shan’t get lost along the fray.
The Redbird’s song will guide you home,
To your mother’s loving arms, you will soon behold.
“If you believe in something hard enough, then it will become true.”
Little Deborah May loves her mother more than anything else in the whole world. Her mother is kind, loving, and wrote a poem just for her, The Redbird’s Song.
But there’s something wrong. Suddenly, her mother has disappeared and her father is acting weird, only telling her that her mother is sick and very contagious. Her father is talking to himself when he thinks he is alone, she saw him through the window.
Confused, missing her mother, her father telling her that everything is okay but she knows that it isn’t, there is only one thing that is certain, and that is the Redbird’s Song will guide her home, to her mother’s loving arms, she will soon behold.
