DESCRIPTION:

Wilfor Marks is happy with his life. He has a supermodel wife, a six figure job, and an apartment in uptown Manhattan overlooking Central Park. Not bad for a short, shy, and balding guy who grew up dirt poor on the lower east side. He was happy as he could be until August Metzger came into his life. August knows things that he shouldn't know and convinces Wil that he is indeed satan and wants Wil's soul!
August proves to Wil he's the reason Wil has everything he's ever wanted and Wil realizes his whole life has been a set up. Just to pour salt into the wound August even proves to Wil that his wife is cheating on him and Wil's daughter Railly isn't his. At Wil's lowest point, August promises Wil he will not be tortured for all eternity if he just signs away his soul now. Wil is ready to sign the deal when August says something that makes Wil think there is another way and convinces the devil he needs more time. August agrees and gives Wil a week to decide but, at the end of that week, Wil either signs the deal or his soul is tortured for all eternity.
Wil looks for help in the most likely place but when he realizes the church is lying to him, he has no choice but to turn to those in the wiccan community for help. As Wil tries to find a way to beat the devil's deal he screws up at work and now he's been fired too! With his wife cheating on him, and having just been fired, Wil must turn to the only other person who has met August and lived but who is Kasey Bane and why does it seem like August is protecting her?

DESCRIPTION:

The old beast is up to something out of character here.

Gabriel appears autistic because he hears a voice. The voice is real, but it
is a supernatural presence. This voice gives him a power that he can transfer
by touch. Gabriel does not trust this presence, though he finds that the
wonder of what he is experiencing is far too great for him to resist.

Gabriel's "autism" is really a defense against the weight of the power that
has engulfed his heart, mind and soul, from the very beginning. He has no
memory of his parents and in actuality, the voice, which causes him so much
distress, is the only reality he has ever known. Living in an orphanage in
Austin, Texas, all of his life, the voice has shown him more attention and
love than any other person.

He befriends one other special young person in that orphanage, Joshua Fellows.
Joshua also has experienced little love in his short life. The bond between
these two young boys is the beginning of an amazing journey.

Together, they find the strength to take the gift, and to use it for good. They will ultimately discover that the presence is not at all who they expected.

I will humbly submit that this book is written in the spirit of Dean Koontz's works and also Stephen King's works. I am searching for that spirit and voice in this novel! More to come!

In his classic 'Dracula', with a few cryptic entries in an unnamed captain's journal, Bram Stoker offered hints of the voyage that brought the vampire king from his homeland to a blood-rich London.

Now, the whole mind-rending tale is told.

July, 1897. The Demeter sets sail from Varna. A month later in the middle of a raging storm, the derelict schooner runs aground in Whitby. The only living thing aboard is a huge dog that vanishes into the night.

What happened during those fateful days? Join Doug Lamoreux, author of The Devil's Bed, for rousing sea adventure, for romance, and for terror. Come aboard Dracula's Demeter.

Praise for DRACULA'S DEMETER:
"A fiendishly clever and welcome addition to the Dracula mythology." -Aaron Christensen, Fangoria Magazine-
"...fits like a missing piece into Stoker's classic tale of horror." - Stephen Vrtol, Amazon review

Dracula's Demeter is a 2012 Lord Ruthven award nominee and a two-time Amazon bestseller in Vampire Horror.
